TOPIC: It’s Your Set Time For Uncommon Favor

BIBLE TEXT: “You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.” – Psalm 102:13

For every prophetic declaration, there is a set time of fulfillment. God works with time and season. According to today’s text, there is a set time for God’s uncommon favor to manifest in your life and the time is now. It is time for God to show you favor, the appointed time has come for you to attract and enjoy favor from the Lord just like Mary did.

Time is generally defined in the Greek as “chronos” and “kairos”. “Chronos” represents a chronological time that is calculated in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries and millennia. On the other hand,“Kairos” represents a God-appointed time when something is to occur. Generally, “Kairos” denotes God’s divine intervention in a man’s life to accelerate or bring to pass some occurrence or event on his behalf. It is a moment that is unplanned, unexpected and unscheduled when God decides to bless or favour someone. In other words, “kairos” is a time when God decides to visit a man with favor.

Favor, for the most part, is an unexplainable blessing that comes to your life. In many cases, favor seems undeserved and does not follow any natural, rational or reasonable explanation. It is an attitude of approval or liking. Divine favour is an uncommon blessing or breakthrough that God Himself has orchestrated and ordained for your life.This favour comes directly from the hand of God and not from any man. Thus, it cannot be manipulated, articulated or even imagined by the human mind.

Furthermore, divine favour positions you for success and transcends all barriers whether they may be racial, social, cultural, financial, relational or even generational. As it relates to divine favour, nothing in this natural realm is an attributing factor to your success. This simply means that divine favour has nothing to do with how beautiful you are, how educated you may be, your socioeconomic status, your level of financial prominence, political persuasion, ethnicity or nationality.

When her own set time came, Mary, a poor village girl, was highly favored and was singled out for uncommon miracle. When it was the turn of Esther, at the appointed time for her to experience uncommon favor, she was single-handedly picked to become the queen in Shushan among other competitors.

Beloved of God, according to today’s text, it’s your set time to experience uncommon favor. The appointed time has come for God to show you favor. You can key into this prophecy and trust God for a miracle that will change your story.

PROPHETIC PRAYER

I pray for you today:

  1. May the Lord arise and have compassion on you in the name of Jesus.
  2. The Lord will surround you with favor like a shield
  3. I declare this season for you as the season of open doors
  4. You will connect with great opportunities
  5. This weekend will usher into the realm of uncommon favor.

So shall it be in Jesus name. Amen.
