A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Faith Through Trials [09/09/2016]

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. Job 23:10. Read: James 1:2-4

Students try to avoid test and exams simply because they do not prepare for it. If at all they want promotion, they must sit for the test and exams. If there’s anything man tries to avoid in life it’s trying and troubled times, they do all they can to skip it. Trying times are not to destroy us but to enhance our patience and faith in God. Trying times is to build up our spiritual and physical muscles  to give life what it takes to survive in this troubled world. The hallmark of faith in Heb 11 talks about the patriarchs of faith and all they went through and how they subdued and conquered. “THERE CANNOT BE GENUINE FAITH WITHOUT TRIALS OF SUCH FAITH”. Faith is only built through trials of life.

Job earlier in his life tried to avoid trial when he said, For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. Job 3:25. Later when he understood that trials are fashioned with a man’s life, he said, after he tried me, I will come out like gold. Strength is needed to go through and overcome every trials and that strength comes from joy which is from God and only by looking unto Jesus Christ. Neh 8:20, Heb 12:2.
