And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. Exodus 33:15. Read: Exd 33:14-15
The presence of the Lord in your life makes you a unique person among others. Everywhere you go and everything you do, make sure you don’t leave God’s presence behind, always go with Him. Just as a snail cannot go anywhere without it shell, so we must not go anywhere without His presence. Whatever will cause you God’s presence must be done away with and cling to all that enhance His divine presence.
One of the Bible characters that valued God’s presence so much was Moses the man of God. He could not do or crack joke with Him. Moses said in the above scripture unto God,if your presence will not go with me, don’t bother to ask us to go, because, we won’t go. He told God, How would the people know that your people and I have found grace in your sight? It’s only when you go with us. So shall we be separated, your people and I, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. God’s presence makes you different from others because you’re fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. Making yourself available in His presence and studying His Word should be our utmost priority.
