Everything about our Lord Jesus Christ is great. The Bible told us that through the blood Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary, Satan and all the rebellious angels were defeated and thrown out of heaven. Rev. 12:11. While He was on Earth, He was busy destroying the evil works of the devil. He was demolishing all the evil seeds the devil has sown among the good seeds God has planted. 1 John 3:8, Matt 13:25. He went into the business of dealing with demons and forgiving humanity the sin the devil sowed in their lives that has made them enemy to their God, He was depopulating Satanic kingdom to populate God’s Kingdom through reconciliation. 2 Cor 5:18-19
Even when Jesus was on the heart of the earth, He was still busy destroying Satanic works. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 2:14-15, that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Jesus the greatest conqueror has defeated death through His death on the Cross of Calvary, you need not to subject yourself to fear of death anymore as long as you have Him as your Lord and Saviour.
