Topic: Fountain of Life [26/3/2016]
Text: Revelation 21:6
Jesus told that woman at Jacob’s well “…the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:14). Now this statement is very profound. The water is the very life of God, the life that the Holy Ghost brings to any man that puts faith in Jesus Christ.
But what Jesus was making us understand is that, we are not just going to have this life, but we will become channels through which His life is given. Jesus was the first channel, the fountain of living waters. We also have become wells of living water. And any man that taste of our waters shall not taste again, just as it is with Jesus. That is the kind of life we’ve got.
We are God’s fountain of life here on earth. We are His life giver. We make mere men gods like us through the words of reconciliation in our mouth, as we beseech men in God’s stead 2 Cor. 5:18-20). As fountain of living waters, we enliven all that we come in contact with, making them to taste the sweetness of the life of God as they drink from our waters.
Give your living waters to the world and keep winning daily.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for the death of Jesus which has brought life to me, making me a well of life to my world. As I give of my water to the world, they will never taste again but have Your life to the full, in Jesus name. Amen.
