Life is in phases and at every phases, there is or are lessons to learn and thereafter you forge ahead to another level. Whether we believe it or not there are lessons one would learn in poverty that cannot be learnt in abundance. So, poverty is not bad on it own but a good platform to learn some hard lessons and then forge ahead. Just because some lessons can be learned from some phases of a man’s life doesn’t mean that one should keep going back to that phase, if you do that, you would miss your opportunity to dive into the future.

When the King who knew no Joseph was enthroned, he and his people were afraid of the people of God and decided to afflicts them. By the reason of their affliction, they cried unto God who heard them and decided to send them a deliverer in person of Moses and they were delivered. Exd 12. But throughout their journey, they always wanted to go back to Egypt – the land of bondage and afflictions, they were used to the bread of sorrow they always eat. At a slight challenge, they complained and decide to go back to their poverty. They preferred bondage to freedom. Like the Israelite, you must not allow your ugly passed experiences affect your mentally, rather, learn from them and allow them to pass away because your destiny is great and your future is bright.
