Topic: Make That Discovery [13/2/2016]
Text: Luke 4:17-20
God created us to make impact in this world. He did not create us just to make up the numbers, but to add value to what is already on ground here on earth and to improve things. According to the counsel of God’s will, He created us to touch humanity for him. To meet a need here on earth, but we must discover this, the need we were made to meet. Life becomes purposeful, streamlined and visionary when we make this all important discovery of what God has created us to do here on earth.
When Jesus discovered His own in Luke 4:18-19, He declared in verse 21, “…this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” And from that day everything Jesus Christ did, were geared towards fulfilling the mandate of God for His life. In John 4:34, Jesus said unto his disciples, “my meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”
You must make the discovery of heaven’s mandate on your life. It will bring meaning to your life, and success in this life, in God’s eyes, is measured only by it. You were created to make an impact, don’t live your life without discovering and fulfilling God’s mandate for your life.

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for creating me with a divine mandate. Dear Lord, I ask today that You fill me with its knowledge that I might be able to fulfil it, in Jesus name, amen.
