TOPIC: Fulfilling God’s Condition for Blessing (I) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 12 March 2019)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 16-18; Mark 13:1-20
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Genesis 12:1-3
MEMORY VERSE: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” – Revelation 3:20
The MESSAGE:
Note the word “Now” before you continue. It connotes something that happened at a stage or point in Abraham’s life. Also, there were three-fold places the Lord commanded Abram to leave in order to be in the right place and he obeyed willingly.
This is the same thing God wants from you and me if we must succeed in life. The three-fold places Abram departed from represented the obstacles, sin and the wickedness, within and without, that would have limited him. Whatever and wherever the Lord is asking you to leave, leave it now. Leave that place of sin, that ungodly relationship, life of fornication, hypocrisy, backsliding, drinking and so on. God desires complete surrender of the spirit, body and soul of His children. He cannot order you around as He desires if He cannot first possess you to Himself.
What should you surrender?
- Your body: Eyes, nose, ears, legs, hands, mouth, every part of your body. Use your body to do only things that pleases God. Most importantly, your sexual organ. Misuse of it can put you in eternal bondage. A lot of the so-called Christians are yet to yield this part of their bodies totally to God (Colossians 3:1-9).
- Spirit and Soul: Do not depend on your strength or wisdom. Put on the new man (Colossians 3:10-17). Live in subjection to the Holy Spirit. Show forth the fruit of the Spirit. Be loving, full of hospitality, forgiving, etc. (Galatians 5:22; Colossians 1:10).
The benefits of surrendering to God and living and all-round godly life will attract the presence of God, His mercy, blessing and grace to your life. You will discover His purpose for your life. You will fulfil your destiny as you walk in total trust and obedience. You will not make careless and destiny-truncating mistakes. You will be the light and salt of the world and also a terror to the kingdom of darkness and so on.
At this stage of life, God is asking you to surrender your life to Him. Now is the right time to give it all to God as tomorrow might be too late.
Today, make the right choice. The Lord is offering to own you, lead, help, use and in return bless you with life in abundance. What is it that is stopping Him from blessing you? Fornication, stealing, gossip, hate, secret sin, name it. Or have you been swimming in perpetual backsliding or never tasted Jesus before? Now is the right time to let Him in, to dine with you.

MORNING
- O Lord, teach me to obediently walk with You, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, come in Your fullness and dwell in my life, in the name of Jesus.
- I come out of every place the Lord hates today, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING - My Father, I surrender my whole being to You today, receive me, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit, overshadow my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Every agenda of the enemy to truncate my life, be nullified, in the name of Jesus.
- My life is covered with the precious blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
