FIRE SCRIPTURE: Joshua 9:22-27 (KJV)
22 And Joshua called for them, and he spake unto them, saying, Wherefore have ye beguiled us, saying, We are very far from you; when ye dwell among us?
23 Now therefore ye are cursed, and there shall none of you be freed from being bondmen, and hewers of wood and drawers of water for the house of my God.
24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.
25 And now, behold, we are in thine hand: as it seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto us, do.
26 And so did he unto them, and delivered them out of the hand of the children of Israel, that they slew them not.
27 And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose.

There is no height you cannot attain, no problem you cannot solve and no obstacle you cannot overcome. Today, we are addressing powers that hinder people from going higher in life.

I know a brother who ran away to America and did not tell any member of his family. He settled down there, got married and had four children. He was not writing to anybody at home and nobody knew his whereabouts, and he was doing well. But one night, he had a dream where he saw a dog running after him until it caught up with him and started biting him. When he woke up, he knew that there was trouble. The following morning, a letter arrived from Nigeria with the name of his junior brother at the back as the sender. His people did not know where he was for ten years. But the morning after he had the dream of the dog which dealt with him, policemen came and showed him a form he had filled about four years earlier which was full of lies. “Were you the one that filled this form?” they asked. And he was instantly deported to Nigeria. It was with the dress that he had on that he arrived at the airport in Nigeria, leaving his wife, children and everything over there. He had relocated to America physically; but he did not relocate spiritually, and trouble followed.
Beloved, you are to note that a curse is a set of words issued for destructive purposes. It is a commission given to satan to limit the life of a person. The enemy may decide to take 20 years out of the life of a person, by issuing a curse. A curse is a force of retardation. So, if you dream of your primary school days or secondary school days or that somebody converted you to a housemaid or houseboy or slave, then you are under a curse of retardation. And you need to break such a curse. According to today’s passage, you must break all stubborn curses. Do not allow demoting powers to keep you in the realm of slavery.

MORNING
- O God arise, and give me a strong reason to celebrate and laugh this year, in the name of Jesus.
- The enemy shall weep concerning my life this year, in the name of Jesus.
- My Father, show me unusual secrets of my next level, in the name of Jesus.

- Every month of this year shall be a disappointment to the enemy, in the name of Jesus.
- My Father, distract my enemies with problems that are bigger than them, in the name of Jesus.
- God arise and invade my star and set it free, in the name of Jesus.
- My adversaries, hear the word of the Lord, carry your loads, in the name of Jesus.
