TOPIC: The Ministry Of Angels (II) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 11 February 2021)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Exodus 36-38
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Acts 12:1-11 (KJV)
1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
8 And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
9 And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.
10 When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.
11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

ANGELS OF GOOD NEWS WILL BRING YOU THE NEWS THAT WILL USHER YOU INTO UNENDING CELEBRATION, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
The MESSAGE:
We learnt yesterday that as a believer, you can send God’s angels on assignments that will bless your life. In Hebrew 12:22, Apostle Paul describes the angels that are at the disposal of believers in Christ as “an innumerable company”, and they are available to serve us. What a privilege we have in Christ! I encourage you to begin to practise God’s word by sending His angels on specific assignments in your life. Only make sure that your request or command is in line with the word of God.
You can also pray to God to send His angels to you when you need divine intervention. He will. The Bible reveals that God sent angels on missions of mercy to His children. He still does today. He sent an angel to Abraham with promises of blessings (Genesis 22). He sent angels to the gates of Sodom to rescue righteous Lot from its fiery doom (Genesis 19). He sent angels to Elijah, as he was about to perish from weariness and hunger in the desert (1 Kings 19). He sent an angel to Elisha with chariots and horses of fire surrounding the little town where he was shut in by his foes (2 Kings 6:13-18). He sent angels to Daniel, while seeking divine wisdom in the court of the heathen king and when he was abandoned to be the lion’s prey (Daniel 6). He sent an angel to rescue Peter, who was doomed in Herod’s dungeon (Acts 12). He sent angels of deliverance to the prisoners at Philippi (Acts 16). He sent an angel to Paul and his companions in the night of tempest on the sea (Acts 27). He sent an angel to open the mind of Cornelius to receive the gospel (Acts 10). He sent an angel to dispatch Peter with the message of salvation to the Gentile stranger (Acts 10). All these points to the truth that in all ages, these holy angels have ministered to God’s people. My prayer is that they will minister mercy, grace, help, healing, deliverance, blessings, peace, joy, progress and all-round fulfillment to you today, in the name of Jesus.
Beloved, a closed mouth is a closed destiny. Cry unto God and tell Him to send His angels on a mission of mercy into that particular area of your life or that situation that has been a huge burden to you all these while. Make your requests in the holy and wonder-working name of Jesus. Your help is here!
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- Father, I need angelic intervention and help. Send Your angels to me today, in the name of Jesus.
- Angels of mercy, my life is available, visit and bless me now, in the name of Jesus.
- Angels of war, arise and fight my battle, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Father, send Your angel to deliver me from captivity and trouble today, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, let Your angels dispatch and deliver to me the blessings that money can buy and the blessings that money cannot buy, in the name of Jesus.
- Angels of the Living God, recover my virtues and glory from demonic hands, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, give me the strength, speed and wisdom of an angel, in the name of Jesus.
