14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

MFM Devotional For Today MESSAGE:
Being a sleeper implies that a person lives in complete darkness. It is when a person lives in sickness and he thinks he is in perfect health. It is to seek how to please the world more than one can please God. A sleeper is selfish and very proud and has no regard for the things of God. He or she is over familiar with God.

An example of this can be seen in Samson from the Bible. He had the qualities of those who are spiritually asleep. He was proud and didn’t listen to the counsel of his parent. He loved the world and wanted to please the world more than Cod. This landed him in serious trouble and he wasn’t the same after that again. He became vulnerable to his enemies. They ridiculed his life, stripped him of his glorious power and made him disabled for life (gouged out his eyes). This made his glorious life to be wasted and cut short. Oh, what a tragedy! The dangers of being spiritually asleep can make people end up like Samson or even worse. It can bring a person from grace to grass. Worse of all, it can make the wrath of God fall upon a person. And when the wrath of God is upon a person, nothing can deliver him or her.
Beloved, let us all humbly go to God on our knees and beg Him to have mercy upon us and deliver us from spiritual slumber. Let us take God seriously. Let us practise holiness within and without, by obeying His words, reading His words and talking to Him day and night. When we do this, God’s light will automatically shine upon us and anything we lay our hands upon will prosper. May God wake us from every spiritual slumber. Amen.

- Oh Lord, let every demonic household keeping my marriage in bondage release me in the name of Jesus.
- Oh Lord, defend your interest in my life in the name of Jesus.
- Every evil marital pattern of my father or mother release me by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Every familiar spirit in my family line transferring delay or failure from generation to generation, my life is not your candidate in the name of Jesus.

- Oh God, arise and let my marital ridicule be converted to marital miracle in the name of Jesus.
- Let God arise and let the enemies of my marital breakthrough be scattered in the name of Jesus.
- The yoke of marital delay operating in my life, break in the name of Jesus.
- Let the hardened enemies of my marital testimony receive the stones of fire and die in the name of Jesus.
- Holy spirit prepare me for marriage in the mighty name of Jesus.
