MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we stressed the importance of treating others the way we want to be treated as a prerequisite for getting our prayers answered by God. Another condition for getting prayer answered is that we must love one another as Jesus has loved us and given His life for us. The golden rule in Matthew 7:12 is good for all relationships. We have a case of people treating their dogs better than their gatemen or gardeners. Some see their drivers as necessary evil and deal with them with disdain. Yesterday, we mentioned the maid that was brought for deliverance who told us that on Saturday night, the family would prepare a staple food call “Garri” in Nigeria (this is cassava flakes prepared with hot water). What was left from her portion would be kept in the refrigerator to preserve it. On Sunday when they came back from church, the master of the house would open the refrigerator and stay that would be her food for that day, but she must prepare pounded yam for the whole family. That was what made her to be very angry and she decided to deal with the family through the children.

Dearly beloved, how are you treating those that are working with you and for you? Some of us have inadvertently blocked our own prayers by the way and manner we relate with our workers. You don’t pay your workers as and when due. Yet, you do not have soothing words for them. Some will even go to the extent of telling their workers to do their worst. In today’s Fire Scripture, God asked us to do unto others, what we also want from them. Do you obey this command? If you want your prayers to be answered, one particular condition you need to meet is to do unto others what you want them to do unto you.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- Spirit of Jesus, enter into my life, in the name of Jesus.
- O God, arise and convert my insult to glory, in the name of Jesus.
- My Father, let me experience Your power, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- My Father, give me the eyes to see myself for who I am, in the name of Jesus.
- O God, let my mockers feel Your power, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, help me to do to others what I want them to do to me, in the name of Jesus.
- Strange fire prepared against my prayer altar, quench and scatter, in the name of Jesus.
