10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
When the heaven over the life of a person is open, he or she will enjoy limitless possibilities from heaven. His or her life will be a pleasant story of progress and excellent accomplishments. However, a person that enjoys open heaven must learn how to keep his or her heaven perpetually open. The powers that close people’s heavens must be kept at bay.
What is open heaven? Open heaven is having unending favour with God and man. It is a situation where we have whatever we need when we need it. What an amazing life to enjoy open heaven always. Only God has the power to open heavens and it is up to us to maintain the open heaven. It is our responsibility to keep our heaven perpetually open. But the question is how can I experience open heaven? What do I do while waiting for my open heaven?

Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” You must first believe that God exists and that He is able to do all things. God is to you how you perceive Him. If you see Him as the Almighty, He will manifest Himself as the Almighty to you and if you see Him as a limited God, that is what you get. When you believe in God as the Alpha and Omega, you need to surrender your life to Him totally.
Also, you need to pray for open heaven; you need to prove to God that you really desire an open heaven by asking earnestly for it. This is the beginning of your open heaven. Now how do you keep your heaven open? Apart from continuing in the things that enabled you to have an open heaven, you must do more to sustain it. You must continue to live in obedience to the Word of God. In Mark 1:9-11, after the baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ, the heavens opened and a voice from heaven said, “Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” You must live a life pleasing to God. You must walk by faith. That is, you must walk in the supernatural.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- O heavens over my life, open by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
- O Lord, lead me away from those who will demote me, in the Name of Jesus.
- Divine favour, envelop my life, in the Name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Powers working against my open heavens, die, in the Name of Jesus.
- I refuse to operate under a closed heaven, by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the Name of Jesus.
- Every hindrance to my open heavens, die, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father Lord, secure my open heavens, in the Name of Jesus.
