TOPIC: Financial Stewardship (2) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 26 April 2026)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Chronicles 8, 1 Chronicles 9, 1 Chronicles 10, Matthew 21, Matthew 22.
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Luke 16:10-13 (KJV)
10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?
13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
MEMORY VERSE: Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. – 1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV)
MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: Success is you being faithful to Christ in all things.
PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.
PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: Today, God will teach you financial stewardship and give you financial freedom, in the Name of Jesus.
MFM Devotional For Today 2026 MESSAGE:
As believers, we are often taught about stewardship, but when it comes to financial stewardship, more caution is required. The stakes are higher because of the tendency to begin to view it as a personal asset. Scripture reminds us that everything we own, including money, belongs to God. While we trust God as our provider, biblical wisdom dictates planning for the future and saving responsibly. Proverbs 21:20 says, “There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.” It means that the wise manage their wealth well, but fools squander theirs. Joseph in Egypt (Genesis 41) is a powerful example; he saved during years of plenty to survive the famine. And God used him to preserve nations in the time of famine.

Honesty and integrity in financial dealings is another hallmark of good stewardship. God expects His people to conduct all financial matters, be it business, personal, or ministry, with integrity. A good steward must be transparent in all his financial dealings. Luke 16:10 says, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.” Financial faithfulness in small matters shows your spiritual maturity and can lead to greater responsibility.
Trusting God as your provider shows your worth as a steward. True financial stewardship begins and ends with trusting God, not riches for security and provision (Philippians 4:19). Matthew 6:33 affirms that when we prioritise the kingdom of God and His righteousness, every other thing will be given to us as well. Let us be faithful stewards, generous in giving, wise in spending, prayerful in planning, and honest in all dealings so that God may be glorified through financial stewardship.
