TOPIC: Claiming Your Blessings (Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Monday, 14 May 2018)
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Zechariah 3:1-10
MEMORY VERSE:
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” – Ephesians 1:3
The MESSAGE:
Blessings are essential and necessary requirements for daily and generational prosperity. When an individual is blessed, prosperity becomes a sure thing. I have a brother in Christ who usually complained bitterly to me that things were not moving well for him as a Christian, and that he had prayed, fasted, sowed seeds, made vows and fulfilled them, all to no avail.
The problems with unclaimed blessings lie in the spiritual. When we ask God in prayers for some things, He answers immediately with a reply but there are certain forces that fight against the answers to our prayers because they do not want others to see the evidence of Christ in our lives (Daniel 10:12-13). Perseverance in prayers helps us to claim our blessings, sin on the other hand, is an embargo that allows the enemy to withhold our blessings from us (Zechariah 3:1-5). Joshua, the high priest of God, was subjected to poverty and filth because he was stained with sin. This gave the devil the opportunity to withhold his blessings from him by accusing him before God.
The first key to claiming our blessings is living a holy life; the second is persevering in prayers.
The Lord Jesus told us the story of the judge who feared neither man, nor God but gave justice to a widow who continually came to meet him for justice, “And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?” (Luke 18:7). Lastly, develop a stubborn faith against all odds and it shall be well with your soul.

Some blessings will help you serve God better in this world but others won’t, wisdom demands that you choose wisely.

Every unclaimed blessings of yours shall locate you today.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. I receive the righteousness and holiness of Christ within me, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every power accusing me before the throne of God, be silenced by the blood of the Lamb, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every strange hand withholding my blessing from reaching me, be broken to pieces, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. Caterpillars and cankerworms that are after my blessings, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
5. Satanic embargo enthroned against my blessings, be dismantled, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every hindrance to my prayers, be bulldozed by the caterpillars of heaven, in the name of Jesus.
7. I claim all my stolen benefits, in the name of Jesus.
