The male and female finals of this year’s Kogi state Nestle Milo Secondary School Basketball Championship have been fixed for Friday, March 13, 24 hours after the semi-finals.

The semi-finals which are scheduled to take place at the Basketball court of Federal University, Lokoja on Thursday will see Saint Peters College, Idah slug it out with Abdullaziz Attah Memorial College, Okene and Ajaokuta Steel Comprehensive School, Okene to tackle Army Day Secondary School, Lokoja in the male category.

In the female event, Holy Rosary College, Idah will face Teacher Home, Lokoja, while Royal Crown Secondary School, Ajaokuta will battle Dickson Memorial College, Idah both in the semis.

Winners of each category will represent Kogi state in the zonal Confluence Conference play-offs billed for April which will feature 10 states from the northern region including hosts Kogi.

No school from Kogi have qualified to the national finals in Lagos from the zonal stage play-offs in the previously organised 16 editions.
