TOPIC: Life After Now (Open Heaven for Teens, 15 January 2026)
MEMORISE: For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:26
BIBLE READING: Colossians 3:2-3
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
MESSAGE:
One of the reasons some young people live recklessly is that they fail to think about their lives beyond the present. The Bible has made it clear that any decision you make today can impact where and how you spend eternity (Matthew 16:25-26). This is why living with eternity in mind is the wisest choice you can make.

Think about how you spend your time; are you investing in things that are important, such as godly relationships, your walk with God, academics, skill development, building your faith, et cetera, or are you preoccupied with things that fade away, like fame, growing your social media followers, acquiring material possessions, et cetera? In 1 Timothy 6:19, the Bible encourages us to lay up treasures for the future and build a foundation for eternal life.
My dear child, avoid living recklessly: rather, make your life count for Christ. You have a unique purpose, and God wants to use you to impact others for His glory. When you live with heaven in mind, you will let go of earthly frivolities and focus on what truly matters-eternity.
REFLECTION:
Are you preparing for eternity?
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Matthew 12:1-21, Genesis 36-37
HYMN 3: All To Jesus I Surrender
1 All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
Refrain:
I surrender all, I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
2 All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine. [Refrain]
3 All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me. [Refrain]
