MESSAGE:
The world has its system and ways of doing things. For example, it is the way of the world in some regions, to offer and receive bribes in exchange for something. It is the way of the world to dress immodestly in order to earn the admiration of the opposite sex. It is the way of the world to get involved in cybercrime and ‘get-rich-quick’ scams in order to ‘pepper dem’. It is the way of the world in some regions to get involved in examination malpractice so as to pass an examination. Beloved, the Bible says we are in the world but not of this world (John 17:16). You are a student of your school but you are a citizen of Heaven from the moment you gave your life to Christ because the Holy Spirit resides in you. Therefore, you ought to live and walk by the Spirit.
To walk in the Spirit means to do everything according to the dictates of the Holy Spirit. It means to think like the Holy Spirit. To do this, you have to be attentive to whatever He says to you and for you to have a smooth rapport with Him, you must pray often in the Spirit. Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfil the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19).
