TOPIC – Found In Him (Open Heaven for Teens, 29 October 2026)

MEMORISE: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: – Ephesians 1:4

BIBLE READING: Jeremiah 1:1-5

1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:

2 To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.

3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.

4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

MESSAGE:

The focus for today is identity crisis. This is because many teenagers today are confused about who they really are. The Bible already establishes that God made you in His image and likeness. However, when sin came through Adam and Eve, it brought a disruption to humanity that caused a separation between God and man. In God’s infinite love, He devised a reconciliation plan through Jesus, His Son, So that our relationship with Him can be restored.

It’s easy to feel lost, especially when you are trying to fit in, but 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” If you have been lost in sin, it’s time to come back to God. He is your Father, and He wants you to see yourself as He sees you.

My dear child, God chose you before the foundation of the world, and He created you as His masterpiece for a unique purpose. Don’t seek validation from the world; instead, find your worth in the Scriptures, and experience God’s unchanging love every day.

REFLECTION:
Do you know who God has created you to be?

Luke 7:31-50 Judges 3-5

HYMN 78: Great Is Thy Faithfulness

Thou changest not, Thy compassion, they fail not,
As thou has been thou forever will be.

Refrain:
“Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All l have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, lord unto me!

2 Summer and winter, and spring time and Harvest
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

3 Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide!
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
