14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

MESSAGE
The world is moving at a great pace, and different unhealthy trends are now becoming the norm. I see casual dating as an avenue to venture into immorality. Casual dating is a form of lust that the devil is using to shift the focus of young people from God. Lust never seeks the will of God. Therefore, don’t put yourself in a position that will lead you to compromise and sin against God. This is because the moment you start dating casually, it is likely that you will start fornicating. Even though the world teaches that there is no big deal in having sex before marriage, the Lord frowns at it. Song of Solomon 8:4 says that you should not wake love before its time.
Beloved, you are at your prime, and it is expected that your focus should be on your spiritual growth, academic success, and financial stability. You should be planning your future; therefore, casual dating is a distraction that can limit you from attaining your glorious destiny. I implore you to flee from anyone who fits into the description of today’s memory verse. They will only waste your time and rob you of God’s promises.
ACTION POINT:
If you are currently in a casual dating relationship, please break it off today.
HYMN 19 – There’s Not A Friend Like The Lowly Jesus
1. There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus–
No, not one! no, not one!
None else could heal all our soul’s diseases–
No, not one! no, not one!
CHORUS:
Jesus knows all about our struggles,
He will guide till the day is done;
There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus–
No, not one! no, not one!
2 No friend like Him is so high and holy–
No, not one! no, not one!
And yet no friend is so meek and lowly–
No, not one! no, not one!
3 There’s not an hour that He is not near us –
No, not one! no, not one!
No night so dark but His love can cheer us–
No, not one! no, not one!
4. Did ever saint find this friend forsake him?
No not one! no not one!
Or sinner find that he would not take him?
No not one! no not one!
5. Was e’er a gift like the Savior given?
No, not one! no, not one!
Will He refuse us a home in heaven?
No, not one! no, not one!
