Memorise: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7

Read: Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

  1. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
  2. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Bible In One Year: Daniel 1-2; 1 John 2:1-29

MESSAGE:

The third law of motion states: For every action, there is a reaction. This also means that for every action, there is a consequence, either good or bad. The Bible says in Galatians 6:7

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting.”

Actions are seeds. Whatever you sow, you will definitely reap. Just like a seed, the more you water it, the more it grows, until it becomes a big tree with fruits and whether you like it or not, you will have to harvest your fruits. As a student, if you continue to engage in examination malpractices and seem to get away with it, one day, your sins will catch up with you (Numbers 32:23). The same thing goes for liars. If you continue to tell lies, and you think you are smart at covering them up, one day, it will all come out in the open and you will be disgraced. If you are a rebellious and stubborn child who doesn’t like to take to corrections, your reward is waiting for you in the future if you fail to repent. My advice for you dear child is to study your Bible and obey the commandments of God. You will never regret it.

Key Point:

Your actions, good or bad, will affect you and those around you.

Hymn: Stand Up! Stand Up For Jesus

  1. Stand up! Stand up for Jesus,
    Ye soldiers of the Cross!
    Lift high His royal banner,
    It must not suffer loss.
    From victory unto victory
    His army shall He lead,
    Till every foe is vanquished,
    And Christ is Lord indeed.
  2. Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
    The solemn watchword hear;
    If while ye sleep he suffers,
    Away with shame and fear.
    Where’re yeah meet with evil,
    Within you or without,
    Charge for the God of battles,
    And put the foe to rout.
  3. Stand up! Stand up for Jesus!
    Stand in His strength alone;
    The arm of flesh will fail you,
    Ye dare not trust your own.
    Put on the gospel armour,
    And watching unto prayer;
    Where duty calls, or danger,
    Be never wanting there.
  4. Stand up! Stand up for Jesus!
    The strife will not be long;
    This day the noise of battle,
    The next the victor’s song.
    To him that overcometh
    A crown of life shall be;
    He with the King of glory
    Shall reign eternally.
