Memorise: How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Proverbs 1:22 Read: Proverbs 1:22-23 (KJV) Bible In One Year: Daniel 7-8, 1 John 5 MESSAGE: In His letter to the church at Smyrna, the Lord said He was aware of their poverty, yet they were rich. This could mean several things. It could mean that they were impoverished because they did not know that they were rich. In any case ignorance was a crucial factor. Even today, many believers are living below Heaven’s level of provision because they do not know what is due to them. Hence Hosea 4:6 says many are destroyed for lack of knowledge. The Word of God contains virtually all truths to guide us into success in every area of life, but how many people devote time to study the Bible and internalise it? Knowledge is power. Knowledge is a key to life. The more of it you have, the more you can get out of life. Anyone who refuses to acquire knowledge is only limiting what he or she can get from life. What you don’t know can kill you; have you learnt all you need to know to achieve your spiritual, financial and academic goals? Key Point: The more you know, the less limited you become. In all your getting get wisdom. Also Read: Teen Open Heaven Daily Devotional by Pastor Adeboye Hymn 9: 1.
