“Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.”1 Timothy 4:14

One wonderful gift the Father has bestowed on all believers is the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is an experience that every believer must crave to have and it does not just come once, you have to keep flowing in the anointing. A minister, who flows continuously in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, has a stronger resistance against any harsh condition, than one who just had a one-time experience.

Sadly, a lot of believers, including ministers of the gospel, have lost the functionality of the first oil they received when they first believed, not to even mention a refill. To them, it is a gift and so requires no work to maintain. But that is wrong! Like the oil in your car, the anointing upon your life needs to be renewed regularly to remain relevant. In absence of this renewed anointing, some fake their experiences thereby ending with no results. The anointing is the force of the power of God at work in an individual and as we advance in life, we would always need advancement in It.

The anointing surrounds you with an aroma of honour, dignity and excellence as God’s chosen vessel. Hence, it is impossible for any man to excel in ministry without flowing regularly in God’s anointing. You cannot keep functioning on the previous anointing and expect a change. If your ministry and spiritual life must experience growth, then your level of anointing must increase per time.

Therefore, if the anointing is what gives the breakthrough in ministry, you must not toy with it. What makes a man relevant always comes at a cost. Be ready to pay the cost of being empowered not just once, but again and again. Indeed, your ministry is in for a big-time explosion if only you stay in touch with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Remain Blessed!
