Topic: A Heart of Gold [Thursday 10 September, 2015]

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”-Matthew 5:16

When God decided to create man in His image, He was not trying to use up the remaining space in the Garden of Eden; He had a reason. He wanted a representative on the earth, and so He created you in His image and after His likeness to extend His Heavenly nature to the earth. One of these natures is that of His love. The Bible says “God is love” and everyone born in His likeness must possess the attribute of love.

This love is far beyond what the world professes; it cannot be comprehended. Walking in God’s love is what makes you live a life of impact. You are not just living for what you will eat which is mere existence, but living to make other lives better, through you.

Take a minute to imagine your life as a bead necklace; and see yourself as a bead linked up with others. In the same vein, life is a link, and your destiny is tied to that of others. Every time you shift position, you automatically affect the destinies of those connected to you. So, when you refuse to generate positive impact, you are negatively affecting other destinies tied to yours. Your life on the earth must count to someone, if you must live positively.

The good news is this: There are three days in a man’s life – Yesterday, today and tomorrow. You might not be able to change your yesterday which represents your past, but you can influence your today, so your tomorrow would be brighter. You can choose today to live a life of positive influence and impact and be sure of a fulfilling tomorrow. Everyone needs something to live for, and yours should be being a light so that others may see. You will not fail God in the name of Jesus Christ!

Remain Blessed!
