And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. John 8:29
James 4:8 says, “Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you”. Many are far away from God. They break God’s commandments at will, still, they continue to claim His Blessings. You cannot be breaking God’s commandments and be claiming all His Blessings. If you want to claim His Blessings, you must be ready to please Him in all your ways. Just as in natural every parent would want to relate and attend to any child that please them always, this is also with God Almighty. When you please Him by doing all His bidden, you build a strong bond between you and Him which the devil cannot penetrate. God couldn’t leave Jesus alone because He always do the things that please Him.
Obeying God’s commandments is not tedious as thought by many, it only becomes difficult when it’s done in the flesh. You wouldn’t be able to please God by your power. Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. And by strength shall no man prevail. 1 Sam 2:9. Therefore, to please God easily can be done in the spirit because not by power, nor by might, but by my Spirit says the Lord. The flesh never want you and I to please God, therefore, walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh, but of the Spirit.
