TOPIC: Accessing Heights By Light (Seeds Of Destiny 11 December 2023)
SCRIPTURE: When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness; As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle; Job 29:3-4.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One way to go up in life is to access light.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
Sometime ago, the then Zambian ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Solomon Jere and a team of high ranking officials from Zambia came to worship with us, and later on went for the dedication of a Dunamis Church building with us.
At this church dedication service, while I was preaching, my wife, Dr (Mrs) Becky Paul-Enenche was in her usual manner, writing and jotting down key points from the message.

The ambassador was surprised to see her taking notes. He was so surprised that he asked her, “What are you writing again? You have been married to this man for many years and you have been hearing him preach, what are you writing again?”
In response, she told him, “Yes, I have been listening to him preach for many years, but I have not heard him preach a message twice in more than twenty-three years. He has not preached one message and repeated it verbatim.”
You see, the Bible is too vast and too deep for such repetitions. The revelation of the Scriptures is very deep. When you see light out of Scriptures, a layer of God’s Word would be opened to you. From one Bible verse, God can open your eyes to see many things. When light comes, you would have access to the abundance of God’s Word.
After taking the notes from the service, she would go back home and take action points from what she has written.
You see, light is a lifter of men; when you access light from God’s Word, you are lifted in life.
Job was one person in Scripture that was lifted by light. In Job 29:1-11, Job gave us the insight that made him live an outstanding life and why he was lifted above his contemporaries.
That is why one way to go up in life is to access light. Ask God to open your eyes to access light from Scriptures so you can ride to your high places in life.
Remember this: One way to go up in life is to access light.

- Discipline yourself to study God’s Word regularly.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask for access into greater treasures of Your Word. Open my eyes to behold wondrous things out of Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
