Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2022 MESSAGE:
Soul-winning is the heartbeat of God (John 3:16, 2 Peter 3:9). When we talk about soul winning, it includes discipleship. Soul winning is every believer’s responsibility (Mark 16:15-20), and it attracts rewards and answers from God (Luke 22:35).
Now, the devil, knowing how crucial soul winning is, uses several means to hinder our soul winning efforts. So, today, we will be looking at the hindrances to the lifestyle of soul winning so we can guard against them.

- A lack of focus on eternal values and issues or matters.
This is a situation where a life is totally focused on earthly or mundane matters – what to eat, drink, wear, or drive (Matthew 6:19-20). These hinder soul winning.
Beloved, let all your pursuits in life assist you in the ultimate pursuit of the making of deposits in heaven.
- Distance from the Vine (John 15:4-5).
You cannot bear fruit if you are not connected to the Vine. Connectivity with the Vine equals productivity in life. - Focus on life’s challenges or distractions.
There are times when the devil would tell someone, “Let God do this for you first then you can be very committed as a Christian” (John 15:16). The truth is, your answer is in your assignment (Job 42:10). - Waiting for perfect timings or conditions (Ecclesiastes 11:4). If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get to win a soul, according to the Living Bible version of Ecclesiastes 11:4.
- Failure of expected results.
You might have gone out to preach, tried to impact lives and invite people to church; some may come but disappear almost immediately, while others would not come. It is discouraging but refuse to be discouraged; keep at it. Keep doing what you know is right. Success comes with consistency.

- Allow nothing to hinder you from existing as a fruit-bearing Christian.
- Determine to prove the faithfulness of God through prompt obedience (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to overcome the hindrances to soul winning. Use me as a vessel to pull men and women out of the kingdom of darkness to Your Glorious Kingdom Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
