TOPIC: The Power Of Testimonies (Seeds Of Destiny 19 February 2022)
SCRIPTURE: I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. Psalm 119:99.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Testimonies of the Acts of God are boosters of our faith in God.
Previously, we saw that our survival on earth is dependent on our faith in God. That is to say that the just can die without faith.
Now, testimonies of the Acts of God are boosters of our faith in God. When the Acts of God or what God does for one person are shared in form of testimony, people’s faith in God comes alive.

Sometime ago, I had a meeting with a group of entrepreneurs. And a man shared a testimony in that meeting. Earlier, I had prayed with him and declared for a change of story over his life. He shared the testimony of how he started by living in a little room with his wife where they used a piece of nylon to cover the window because they could not afford buying curtains. He said he began to serve God faithfully and became a dedicated worker in church. He also became committed to covenant practices.
One day he brought a document of a particular contract in eleven zeros, that is, the amount was in billions of Naira. And he said that that is what normally comes to him weekly and monthly and all are tithed.
Now, when he shared his testimony, I received text messages from many people. Someone said “The tithe is clear to me now.” Another person said, “I was trying to find out how to calculate my tithe. What that man said has cleared my mind”. And that one determined on the spot to tithe everything that entered his hand.
Beloved, one testimony settled the agitations in many people’s mind. It brought understanding. It brought clarity. Every time somebody stands on the altar to share a testimony, do not despise it. Testimonies bring understanding.
REMEMBER THIS: Testimonies of the Acts of God are boosters of our faith in God.

- Pay attention to testimonies of the Acts of God in the lives of others as they are being shared.
- Always believe that what God did for one person, He can also do for you.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the power of testimonies. I receive the grace to pay attention to testimonies so my faith can come alive, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
