SCRIPTURE: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. – Romans 10:17
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you are not standing on the Word, you are not standing in faith.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
The Scripture makes it clear that the Word of God is the raw material for faith.
That is why our anchor Scripture says, …faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. In other words, faith begins with the Word. What God says is the basis of our faith. What God has said about your situation is what builds your faith in that area, and not what the circumstance, the devil or medical report says.
Every time you arrive at the point of the Word, you have arrived at the point of faith.
Now, what is the faith process?
In today’s study, we shall be looking at a few of them.
- Word Revelation (Word Insight)
The Scripture says in Romans 10:17, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The Word of God is the seed that bears the fruit of faith. This is confirmed in Mark 4:14: The sower soweth the word.
Now, what is seed all about? A seed is what you sow to get fruit or harvest. So, in any area of life where you need harvest or results, find out what the Word of God is saying in that area. That Word becomes the seed you sow into the soil of your heart, and it will give you the harvest in your life.
For example, any area where you are challenged, look for Scriptural revelations or insights from the Word, preached messages, materials, etc. in that area to charge your faith and give you the seed that will produce a corresponding harvest.
Beloved, faith begins with Word revelation. If you are not standing on the Word, you are not standing in faith. It does not matter how sentimental your prayer is; if it is not standing on the Word of God, it is not standing in faith.
- Heart Conviction
The revelation of the Word of God is designed to bring conviction and belief into your heart. Concerning the woman with the issue of blood, the Scripture says in Mark 5:27 that When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. Can you observe the sequence of what played out in that Scripture?
She heard something, she believed something, and she said within herself, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” In other words, whatever you hear or see from the Word of God is meant to impact you with belief.
Beloved, if your faith is not yet in place, it means insight from the Word has not taken root in your heart. You see something from the Word, that insight sparks conviction in your heart, that conviction transforms your mindset, and you begin to behave differently.
REMEMBER THIS: If you are not standing on the Word, you are not standing in faith.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Search the Scriptures to know what God has said concerning your situation.
- Refuse every mentality that contradicts God’s Word.
- Continually picture the manifestation of your expectations in prayer.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to stand on Your Word, walk in faith, and see the manifestation of every promise You have made concerning my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name
