TOPIC: The Necessity Of The Power Of God (Seeds Of Destiny 4 December 2023)
SCRIPTURE: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where the Power of God is lacking, people are swallowed up in the challenges of life.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
It has been established that the Power of God is one of the most vital necessities of life.
The Power of God is necessary because it is the answer to the multiplied challenges and afflictions of life. Where the Power of God is lacking, people are swallowed up in the challenges of life. But when the Power of God is released, challenges and afflictions are dissolved.
While studying medicine in the university, I saw the necessity of the Power of God. One day, a brother brought a woman, his relative from a village in Benue State to the university.

The mother of this young woman was once barren for many years before giving birth to her. When her mother could not endure the reproach of barrenness anymore, she went to water spirits to ask for children. They told her they would give her children on two conditions. First, they would give her the names she would give the children. Second, when the children reached a particular age in life, they would die.
Then she said something like, “No problem. All I want is for people to know that I too can have children.” And she got two children, a boy and a girl.
According to the covenant she made with them, when the boy reached the particular age they mentioned, he died. But before the girl could reach that age, she repented and gave her life to Christ. That was when her afflictions multiplied. Her case was that of a psychiatric condition and other cases of physical ailments that could not be diagnosed. They carried out several surgical operations on her until there was no place to operate anymore because of the scars of previous operations.
It was in this condition that she was brought to Jos. The Power of God was released upon her, and within thirty minutes, what followed her from her mother’s womb expired on the spot.
Beloved, by all means, ask God to empower you. The Power of God is needed in this evil world. You need God’s Power to stay alive and fulfil destiny.
Remember this: Where the Power of God is lacking, people are swallowed up in the challenges of life.

- Be determined to always camp with God to contact His Power.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace and discipline to camp in Your Presence. Help me to contact Your Power as I remain in Your Presence, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
