PRINCE Dapo Abiodun has continued to receive lots of support from the people of Ogun East, Ogun State and International Community with regards to his case against Mr Buruji Kashamu Prince Abiodun who contested the Senatorial seat of Ogun East in the March 28 2015 general elections mounted a legal case at the Elections Petition Tribunal sitting at Isabo, Abeokuta, the state Capital following what he believes was a “fraudulent” and “irregular” election going by the results released by the INEC which proclaimed Mr Buruji Kashamu as the winner of the Election. It would be recalled that Kashamu has had claims made against him about his eligibility to contest such elections as which made him the unpopular candidate prior to the elections.

The All Progressives Congress had promptly announced its rejection of the results released by the INEC at a joint press briefing in Abeokuta the state capital, that the reult released does not reflect the true wishes of the people of Ogun East. The election was alleged to have been marred by irregularities, inducement of voters and falsification of results in favour of Buruji Kashamu who is a close ally of the immediate past President of Nigeria Goodluck Johnathan.

The Business Philanthropist and one time Gubernatorial Aspirant in Ogun State continues to receive the backing of various interests groups, civil servants and the entire populace of his immediate constituency and the State at Large as their preferred choice even as Buruji Kashamu had been sworn in on the 9th of June 2015 amidst all ongoing.

A recent visit to his official campaign facebook page  www.facebook.com/dapo4senate reveals massive outpouring of confidence in his mandate by the people.

A credible source has revealed that “the Election Petitions Tribunal might soon restore his mandate” expressing confidence in the jurisdiction of the court to do the needful.

The loyal Dapo Abiodun confidant explained “that the support and anxiety from the Public has been overwhelming and a media briefing would soon be held to give people the much desired update”.
