Topic: Prophesying and Thanksgiving [Teens Open Heavens 4 October 2018 by Pastor E.A. Adeboye]

Memorise: Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.2 Corinthians 9:11 Read: Daniel 4:34-37 (KJV) Bible In One Year: Isaiah 29-30, Ephesians 6 MESSAGE: When God commences someone’s restoration by the word of prophesy, the fellow should continue to prophesy on the situation until the last stage of restoration. Even after God starts the blessing you asked for, continue to prophesy concerning that situation. Apart from this, be engaged in heartfelt and continuous thanksgiving. Dull students can have their memory or I.Q sharpened. In this way, thanksgiving is compared to the Word of God which performs the same function when hid in our hearts and regularly meditated upon. The more you think on the Word of God, the more wonders it does to your brain. As a student of mathematics, there are some mathematical equations I could never have tackled if I did not know the Word of God. The more of God’s Word you know, the better understanding you will have about things that you are faced with. Key Point: As you thank God and meditate on His Word, your brain capacity will enlarge greatly. Also Read: Teen Open Heaven Daily Devotional by Pastor Adeboye Hymn 2: 1. When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, What a glory He sheds on our way! While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey. Chorus: Trust and obey, for theres no other way To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. 2. Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies, But His smile quickly drives it away; Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear, Can abide while we trust and obey. 3. Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share, But our toil He doth richly repay; Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross, But is blessed if we trust and obey. 4. But we never can prove the delights of His love Until all on the altar we lay; For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows, Are for them who will trust and obey. 5. Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet, Or we’ll walk by His side in the way; What He says we will do, where He sends we will go; Never fear, only trust and obey.
