So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19. Read: Isa 59:18-20
The flood of life is the challenges each of us face daily. Having understood this, Job cried out and said, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble”. Job 14:1. And Jesus said, this world is full of tribulations, therefore to live peacefully in it, there is need to be His. How? By coming to Him with all our burdens and cares and He will give us rest. The flood of this life that you are currently going through now could be an unknown affliction that refused to go in spite of the fact that you’ve done all you could to see the end of such affliction, but all your efforts proved abortive. Yours could be financial improverishment, barrenness, miscarriages etc, and only God can help you overcome it.
When the devil (who is the cause of all the problems of life) wanted to use flood to kill the woman and her baby in Revelation 12:15-16, the Lord caused the earth to help the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. If you are on the Lord side, the flood of life won’t take you away, but if you’re not, you are not safe, run to Jesus now for safety.
