A Promise For You From Bible Promises:
The World: Not Fun But A Battlefield
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. – Psalms 16:11
Our God is a God that takes delight in pleasurable things, with Him are pleasures for evermore. He put us on earth to have dominion over everything He created and also to enjoy all things. But, often time He would tell the Israelite, when you get to the promise land, don’t forget me lest, you are consumed by the land. God knows that the earth is not for fun only but a battlefield. Those who take the world for fun always make shipwreck of their lives and faith in God. Oh yea, fun is good but fun without control end up in destruction. If you take life for granted, you will be grinded. If you take this world for a fun place, the world will make jest of your life. You must arm yourself and fight for your destiny, your family and children, you must fight for the Church of God. The world is a battlefield not a fun making place. Arise and fight the good fight of faith.
On the other hand, if you think you love pleasure or fun without involving the God of pleasures, you don’t know what pleasure is all about because you are leaving the Creator of pleasure out of what He created. You that call Christianity old school and said, it’s bondage because you feel it would give you the liberty to catch all the fun on earth, you err because in Christian-Edom, Christians enjoy the best fun ever because our God is the God of all pleasures. Don’t gamble with your life by wrong fun making in this dangerous world, rather, give it to Jesus Christ for preservation.
* Fun without Christ is destruction in disguise, don’t make fun of your life.
