Topic: Take It By Faith [TREM Devotional Tuesday July 10, 2018]

“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:2

Grace is a supplier. Grace supplies but faith takes. If you don’t have faith you cannot receive what grace has supplied. Every believer must understand this key truth. Grace supplies food on the table. The banquet is spread but without faith, you won’t take it. It is yours but you need faith to take it. Without faith, you can’t take it. If you don’t believe that it belongs to you, you will still live in sickness. If you don’t believe that it has been given to you free of charge, you will still die of diseases and die of hunger because you failed to take what grace has supplied.

There are many believers who are failing to take what grace has supplied. Everything in this life has been supplied but He tells us that we take it by faith. So, faith is so important that God had to give us faith when we got saved. It is part of your heritage the day you got saved. Every believer has faith.

The book of Romans 12:3 tells us “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Every one of us has the measure of faith. We all started with the same measure. You may not have been developing your own and that is why the Bible talks about little faith, small faith and great faith. It graduates depending on how you exercise your own. Just like your muscles get stronger when you do exercises.
