Topic: This Is The Time To Live Aggressively [TREM’s Devotional Thursday April 26, 2018]

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might”. (Deuteronomy 6:5 KJV)

Developing depth in your relationship with Christ requires consistency. You must learn to be consistent. You cannot afford to vacillate. You should be willing to give everything that God requires of you. As for me, I have purposed in my heart to surrender all to Him. I will give Him all of me. I will go far! My life, my strength, my ability, my money and everything. He owns it all! I know some husbands who discourage their wives from paying tithe. You might think you are fooling God, but let me announce to you that you are only short-changing yourself. Galatians 6:7 (KJV) says, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I know some who discourage people from doing good things for the Kingdom. When a call is made and a person heeds the voice of the Holy Spirit, you say the man/woman is “showing off”. The unfortunate thing is that you don’t even understand the implications of your actions. Look around you at the happenings across the nations of the world; men’s hearts are failing them and dynasties are collapsing. The world powers have no answer to global insecurity. This is the time to live aggressively. This is the time to be totally yielded to God; it must be all of Him and none of you.

You must ensure you are building Christian values into your children because they are the ones to whom we will pass the baton. Success without a successor is a successful failure. Teach your children. If you are a pastor, teach your congregation. Get into the word of God and teach them how they will be able to live for God. Teach them how to prosper without cutting corners. Teach them how to succeed based on God’s Word. Teach them how to overcome. Teach them how to fight battles. Don’t let the enemy hinder you from teaching and raising them to the standard that God designed for them.
