“And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.” – Mark 10:48 (KJV)

From the above scripture, Bartimaeus refused to remain blind. They tried to shut him down. But he kept on shouting that this is the last day I will stay here begging. Jesus, the man of Galilee is passing this way, I am not going to procrastinate. This is the last time I will be brought here or led to this place blind. I can’t encounter the light of the world and then still stay blind. I am saying no to blindness. The crowd tried to shut him down, but Jesus said they should leave him alone. You know why Jesus told them to leave him alone? because that’s why he came. He came to make the lame walk. He came so that the blind can see. He came to make the dumb to speak and to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 says “For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

The people didn’t understand. Even the disciples didn’t catch that revelation. That is why they tried to shut down the blind man. But Jesus said bring him to me. When he came. Jesus asked him ‘what do you want’? He said that I may receive my sight. In other words, he said no to blindness and he went back home with his two eyes seeing.

I don’t know what you are going through now and I don’t know how long you have been in that situation, but I declare to you by the authority of heaven you are coming out. No matter how bad it is and no matter how long it has taken, you are coming out. Stand your ground; refuse to be shut down and there shall be a turnaround in your life.

When Jesus said it is finished, He didn’t say it for his benefit. He said it for our benefit. Therefore, be rest assured that the condition you are going through will not finish you. I declare that you are coming out in Jesus Name.
