“Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:17 KJV

Knowledge without understanding will bring about frustration. In our relationship with God, we must walk in understanding. How do you interpret the knowledge you have? Your interpretation will determine your application of the knowledge you have acquired. If you interpret it wrongly and say it doesn’t concern you, you can never receive the benefit of your salvation. So understanding is very crucial and key in our relationship with God.

Yes, every unregenerate man is in bondage under the devil. That was our root because we are the seed of Adam (the first Adam). But I am glad that it is not only the first Adam that came; the last Adam also came and dealt a deadly blow to the devil. So, everyone that has accepted Jesus Christ into his or her life can boldly declare and boast in the love of God. God loves you despite you. He loves you despite your mess. He knows all about your mess and still loves you. So, you must understand that in any area the enemy is holding you, he is not authorized. You have been discharged, acquitted, and there is no appeal.

That is your position in Christ Jesus. That is why you can sing. You sing because you know, without a shadow of a doubt that the condition will change. You are not wondering whether it will change. You know it because the price had been fully paid.

That is what Prophet Isaiah was saying when he declared in the book of Isaiah 54:1: “Sing, O barren, thou that did not bear; break forth into singing….” It is so powerful. Looking at it closely and reading from God’s word translation, it says: “Sing with joy, you childless women who never gave birth to children. Break into shouts of joy, you women who never had birth pains. There will be more children of women who have been deserted than there are children of married women, says the Lord.”

Expect a turnaround! Jesus, the Game Changer has settled it on the Cross.
