Now then we are ambassadors for Christ… – 2 Corinthians 5:20
The best brands in the world always have brand ambassadors. These brand ambassadors are part of the marketing strategies of the organizations they represent, to market the goods and services the organizations are offering to the public. We – God’s sons and daughters – are the brand ambassadors of the best and biggest brand in the world – the gospel of Christ.
Top brands in the world always want to sign endorsement deals with stars and celebrities as their ambassadors. God also has chosen you as His star and celebrity to be the ambassador of His gospel. Scriptures says in Daniel 12:3, “and they that be wise shall shine as the BRIGHTNESS of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the STARS for ever and ever.” You are God’s star, that is why He has made you an ambassador of His brand.
Every brand ambassador does his or her best, leveraging on their star attraction, to get more market shares to the brands they are representing. We must also use our star attraction – the gifts, talents, skills, passions, etc – God has given to us to increase our kingdom; attracting more people to be part of our kingdom. As God’s stars, the kind of life we lead, the successes we achieve, the love we exhibit, should be an example to people (1 Timothy 4:12), as we guide them to embrace Jesus as Lord and Saviour, and live for Him as His brand ambassadors.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for making me a brand ambassador of the gospel. By the working of Your Spirit in me, I am an effective brand ambassador, putting all my star attractions to good effect and winning more brand ambassadors into our Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
