Topic: Speak No Evil Of Another [10/4/2016]
Text: James 4:11
It is an open secret that the devil is so interested in the division of the church, either between two or more members or denominations of the body of Christ. And to see people who are part of the church aiding him is disheartening. Apostle Paul referred to the Corinthian church as babes because of the division, strife and envying that existed among them (1 Corinthians 3:1-3).
This same attitude still persist in the church till date, and it is time for us to get rid of them. Speak no evil about your brother, pastor, your church, another denomination, etc. Judge them not. Stop the spread of strife within the body of Christ. Let’s not divide our house, for a house divided against itself shall not stand (Mark 3:25).
You might not like everything in your brother, pastor, your church or another denomination. Instead of speaking evil of them, take it to God in prayers, if you can’t stop yourself from talking. Talk to God about it. Don’t go spreading things about your fellow brother in a derogatory way. You are only aiding Satan to divide our rank more. Let’s not divide our rank, Satan stand no chance against a united church.

Dear Lord, thank You for Your Church that I am part of. We are strong, united and full of life. We don’t speak evil of our brother, pastors, church, etc, but we speak good, one of another always, in Jesus name. Amen.
