Topic: From Dominion of Darkness [Monday, 6th Feb. 2017]
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. – Colossians 1:13
The new life we have in Christ is one that is unique and different. Scriptures say that “we were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life” (Romans 6:4 AMP). Before now, we were under the domination and control of darkness. Satan dominated every aspect of our lives.
But not anymore, We are now in a new kingdom, a new country, we are no longer in the territory of satan, where he rules and reign supremely. For “[the Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred Us into the kingdom of The Son of his love” (Colossians 1:13). Darkness and all that it stands for (sin, depression, deprivation, lack, backwardness, sickness, etc) have no dominion over us.
We are in the Kingdom of light. Light dominates darkness. When light shows up, darkness disappears. The light shines in darkness, and darkness comprehends it not. Glory to God! When you find any trace of the manifestation of darkness in your life, tell it, “your time has expired in my life, I am no longer in your territory, you can’t stay in my life, get out in Jesus name.” Dominate darkness with your light. Show darkness you are the boss. You are now in the Kingdom of the Son of His love. It is a kingdom that dominates all comers. Glory to God!

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for translating me into the Kingdom of the Son of Your love. It is a kingdom of light. A kingdom that dominates. I reflect these traits everyday of my life, ruling and reigning in this earth over every trace of darkness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
