Topic: His Praise In Your Mouth [7/8/2016]

Text: Psalm 34:1

The praise of our Father in our mouths is not just a means to extol His greatness and magnify His magnificence, it is also a medium to express our absolute faith in Him and His Word. The Psalmist says: “I will bless the Lord at all times, and His Praise will continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1). Which means in bad and good times, in sour and rosy times, His praises will continually be in my mouth.

Apostle Paul and Silas were thrown into the prison for preaching salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, in Phillipi. Satan thought he had boxed them into a corner and that they will be in despair. It was a careless assumption. Scriptures say they prayed and praised God. They expressed their faith through praises unto God. Not only were the prison doors ripped open and the bands of all the prisoners loosed, the keeper of the prison with his family ended up putting their faith in Jesus (Acts 16:25-34).

Singing praises unto God not only lifts up your soul; in the midst of praising God, your faith in Him is also strengthened. Doubts cannot find expression in you when God’s praise continually finds an outlet through your mouth. Let me say this, “praises is not a substitute for prayers”. Praise is a lifestyle. Let praises always flow from your heart unto God. Praise without ceasing. Bless the Lord at ALL TIMES and let His PRAISE CONTINUALLY be in your mouth.

Keep winning daily.

Wise Action:
Sing to unto God in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
