Text: John 13:34-35
From the heart of every child of God flows an unending stream of love. A stream that has its source from the Father of Love. Scriptures say “…God is love.” That is, love is God’s proof to the world that He is God. No wonder He has lavished this love on us without holding back. All that God did, is doing and will do stem from love. All His acts only tend to reveal is personality – love.
As God is love, we are love also, because “as He is, so are we in this world.” Love is the proof of our knowledge of God. You don’t need to quote all scriptures for people to acknowledge your relationship with God. Just show them how much love you’ve got, because how much love you show is how much God you have. For God is love (1 John:4:7-8).
Jesus said in John 13:35: “by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” That is, this how world will know you’ve known and learnt from Me – by loving one another. We don’t need another proof to the world. Even in the face of the intense hatred the world might subject you to, let all your response be motivated by love. Humanly, it is practically impossible, but with God, that is, with Him (love) as your ally, you can always exhibit love.

Prayer:
Dear loving Father, thank You for love which you have given me by Your Spirit. I am a product of Your love and I exhibit love to all in my spheres of influence. The world sees You through me as I love them just as you have loved them, in Jesus name. Amen.
