Topic: Victory By Wisdom [12/7/2016]
Text: Proverb 25:5

Not all victories are won by brute force. There are strategies for every victory that is to be won. Depending on the opponent, in a football match, the coach employs a strategy to not only neutralizes the threat of his opponent but also to ensure victory. That is why they have different formations and systems in football. And before this time the coach would have studied his opponent to have a first hand knowledge of the would-be opponent.

For us also, we must know our opponent – the devil, his tactics and strategies, so that we can neutralize him. The first thing we must be abreast with about the devil is that he is a defeated foe that is powerless and spineless. Jesus Christ spoiled him and left him powerless (Matthew 28:19, Philippians 2:15-16). Our foe has nothing in his arsenal. When he comes up against you, the wisdom for victory is to resist him with God’s Word, just the same way Jesus Christ dealt with him, and he will flee from you.

Another thing we need to know about this powerless foe, is that he works through deception and fear. He deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden in the beginning and as a leopard who does change his spot, he is still employing this strategy. He also tries to put fear in the hearts of his victims, because he thrives in an atmosphere of fear. Don’t allow him deceive you or make you afraid. He in faith and know the truth of God’s Word. That is the wisdom you need to employ for victory over Satan always.
Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
I walk in knowledge that Satan is a defeated powerless foe. His deception and fear can’t gain access to me because I know the truth and I walk in faith always. My victory over Satan is assure in Christ and I walk in the reality of it always, in Jesus name. Amen.
