Topic: The Word, Our Weapon [5/3/2016]
Text: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
We are in a battle and the realm of our battle is not physical. It doesn’t involve physical elements and definitely, our weapon is not also physical. For though we walk in the flesh (physical realm), we do not war after the flesh (2 Cor. 10:3 parentheses mine).
So because of this, we do not use physical methods to fight. The battle is spiritual, and it is only spiritual weapons and methods we can use. Jesus said, “the Word I speak unto you they are spirit…” (John 6:63). The Word is also referred to as the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17), which effectively shows us that the Word is our weapon of offence.
The battle that we are in is an every second battle, Satan is relentless, and this is why you need to arm yourself with your weapon at all times. And one reality that we are faced with is that, no matter how strong and intense Satan’s forces are, our weapon is able to tear them down, because they are not canal or weak, but they are mighty through God (2 Cor. 10:4). Hallelujah! Arm yourself with your mighty weapon, God’s Word, all the time, as you go ahead claiming victories upon victories.

Thank You Father for the weapon of my warfare is not canal, it’s not weak, but it is mighty through You, and with it I win every campaign and battle I embark on always, in Jesus name. Amen.
