Topic: Without Spot, Wrinkle or Blemish
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27
When you look at some things happening in most of the Churches today, you would want to agree with the person that said, ‘The Church of Christ is sick’. When you hear many abominable things takes place in the house of God, you want to ask if there is actually God. How a man of God embezzled both Church and public funds and how a Pastor has almost slept with all the female members of his congregation these things are dishearten. And these are strong enough to poison the hearts of those in and outside the Church. But then, don’t forget that this is end time and many things will happen and always remember the word of Jesus in Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Don’t look to man but to God.
Are you or have you already given up on God and His house because of what a man of God you so trusted did wrong? Is your love for God waxing cold because of the abominable things happening in the Church today? Don’t give up, rather, heed Jesus word to endure to the end in order to be saved. Vs 13. No matter what happen in the Church today, the fact remains that unclean Church will not stand before Him, He will build His Church in holiness (without spot, wrinkle or blemish) and the gate of hell shall not stand against it. Matt. 26:18. He will purge and wash His Church by the word. Eph. 5:26
* You are the Church not the building, how prepared are you in holiness to stand before Him? Have a peaceful Sunday
