BIBLE READING: Genesis 24:12-15
12 And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.
13 Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water:
14 And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.
15 And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.
MESSAGE:
Eliezer was Abraham’s oldest and most trusted servant, who was saddled with the responsibility of finding a wife for Isaac. He had journeyed to a distant land to carry out the task with a heart filled with faith. With humility and sincerity, he sought divine guidance, asking God for a sign that would lead him to the bride He had chosen for Isaac. Before he finished speaking, his prayer was answered!
Beloved, just as Eliezer received Swift answers to his prayer, you can also experience the miraculous hand of God in your own life. When you are faced with uncertainties of hard decisions to make, pray to God, and He will answer you.
It is important to note that those who approach God with a humble heart in prayer usually get His attention because He delights in the prayers of His children. My dear child, the God who created you has great plans for you, so seek Him like never before in all humility so that He can reveal them to you and help you walk in them.
KEY POINT
When you seek God in humility, He will help you make the right decisions.

HYMN: 22 – Sweet Hour Of Prayer! Sweet Hour Of Prayer!
1 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
that calls me from a world of care,
and bids me at my Father’s throne
make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
my soul has often found relief,
and oft escaped the tempter’s snare
by thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
2 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
the joys I feel, the bliss I share
of those whose anxious spirits burn
with strong desires for thy return!
With such I hasten to the place
where God my Savior shows his face,
and gladly take my station there,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
3 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
thy wings shall my petition bear
to him whose truth and faithfulness
engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since he bids me seek his face,
believe his word, and trust his grace,
I’ll cast on him my every care,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
