A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Deceptive Inheritance [10/03/2017]

An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed. Proverbs  20:21. Lk 15:11-16

Whenever or whatsoever you gain hastily is bound to disappear hastily. Whatsoever you patiently acquire shall remain permanent. Whatsoever you do not labour for shall be squandered hastily. The Bible says in Proverbs  28:20, “A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent”. As long as you want to be like your mates, you want to paint the town red like your friends, you cannot be innocent, you would find a deception to fulfill your lust.

The prodigal son had be living with his father, until his eyes were taken away to fix them on his friends who were living careless lifestyle. By the time they had helped him in squandering the money, they left him to his destruction. Luke 15:14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. He lost everything because he collected deceptive inheritance. It was not yet his right to (though, the inheritance may be his own) ask of his portion. What he did was sacrilege because his father was still alive when he demanded the portion of his and sort him out. When he came to himself, he repented and returned back to God.

* An inheritance gained by deception will surely grow wings and fly away.
