Scripture: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27
Thought For The Day: Life is a gift that must be used to the pleasure of the Giver.
Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that God created us in His Image; He gave us life in order to make the most of it. It is important to understand what life is all about in order to make the most of it. This is because every venture in life becomes outstanding with understanding.
Now, what is life?
In my walk with God over the years, I have discovered five definitions of life from God’s Word:
1. Life is a gift that must be used to the pleasure of the Giver (God) (Acts 17:25).
2. Life is a privilege that must be lived in gratitude and not taken for granted (Psalm 150:6).
3. Life is a responsibility that must be accepted (Galatians 6:4-5).
4. Life is a seed that must be sown for the benefit of both humanity and Divinity (John 12:42).
5. Life is a trust given to a person by God (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).
Beloved, having understood what life is all about, my counsel is, make up your mind to make the most of life; get maximum use or greatest possible advantage out of life. Live to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. Exist to be a change agent in your generation. Live your life to the fullest in order to be fulfilled.
Remember this: Life is a gift that must be used to the pleasure of the Giver.

2. Exist to be a change agent in your generation.
Prayer: O LORD, I thank You for the gift of life. Help me, LORD, to make the most of my life, in Jesus’ Name.
