The Independent National Electoral Commission said it had distributed 45,098,876 Permanent Voter Cards as of Monday.
Mr. Kayode Idowu, the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, made this clarification on Thursday in a telephone interview with The PUNCH.
This is against the earlier report that the commission had distributed 48 million PVCs across the country.
